Chip In Food Drive

  • River City Church 3450 Swenson Avenue Saint Charles, IL, 60174 United States (map)

Chip In supports students in temporary or transitioning housing situations or who are facing the obstacles of poverty in Batavia. With the help of local churches, enough food to feed the families for the entire weekend is provided including breakfasts, lunches, dinners, sides and snacks. The families are identified by the school district and remain anonymous. On Fridays, the full bags are dropped off at schools to be dispersed to the students, and on Mondays they bring the bags back to the schools for pick up. Currently the program is serving 38 families consisting of 168 people. If you would like to make a donation, please see the list of foods accepted.
