At River City Church, we value children and families. Children are one of the many blessings that God gives us and, as parents, this role can be both exciting and scary at the same time. Biblical parenting is not something that just happens naturally; it needs to be intentional. River City Church and River City Kids Ministry seek to come alongside parents as they begin this journey. We are dedicated to equip parents to get started on the right foot in their God-given roles. Family dedication is just one way that we can achieve a partnership with families on this journey of Biblical parenting. Our prayer is that by making this commitment, parents become more intentional in raising their children in a Godly manner. We hope to help you learn to rely on His strength to get them through each day with greater confidence in their blessed gift of this amazing role .

A family dedication, where the parents commit themselves to abide by biblical principles and to raise their children according to God’s standards.
Dedication is not a sacrament. It cannot impart grace or salvation to your child. Salvation only comes through Jesus Christ as each person recognizes his or her sinfulness, receives forgiveness and seeks eternal life through Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.
