Lazarus House is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization serving persons who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and connected to mid-Kane County.
River City Church continues to serve others in need of warm meals. Our caring team makes the meals from scratch here at RCC the second Monday of each month, then delivers them hot to Lazarus House. Come worship as we cook, interact, and make new friends! Please contact Alicia McGhee at alicia.mcghee@hotmail.com if you would like to help.

The Batavia Interfaith Food Pantry is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit, volunteer agency that is directed and operated by community and local church volunteers residing throughout the greater Fox Valley. We are also a member of the Northern Illinois Food Bank Cooperative. Those who visit and use our Food Pantry are our neighbors and friends: people with disabilities, seniors, low income families, and families who have lost their jobs.

Batavia MainStreet's vision is to help create a unique and vital downtown that enriches the business community, embraces history, celebrates the arts, preserves our natural environment and promotes quality events to instill a ‘sense of place’ in our community.

Riverwoods & Riverworks

The Mission of Fox Valley Christian Action is to help the local church serve under-resourced communities around them. Our passion is to see the power of the Gospel transform lives of families living in our local public and subsidized housing communities. Everything that Fox Valley Christian Action does takes place through two initiatives: Riverwoods and Riverworks.

Safe Families

Under current economic condition, many families experience financial crisis, unemployment, and homeless. Often these situations result in, or are made worse by, other hardships such as parental violence, drug or alcohol use, physical or mental illness, or incarceration.

We can help. Safe Families host vulnerable children. We create extended-family-like support for desperate families through a community of devoted volunteers who are motivated by faith to keep children safe and to reunite families.

Naomi's House

Did you know that each year as many as 24,000 women and girls are being sexually exploited in Chicago?

Naomi’s House is a residential home for women who have suffered sexual exploitation and trafficking. Our home, which is scheduled to open in 2016, will offer hope and healing through our comprehensive, therapeutic, Christ-centered program.
