Church Planters

Damian & Nancy McCrink

After serving as college pastors in Illinois and missionaries in Jamaica, Portugal and Mozambique, Damian and Nancy sensed God calling them to start a church to serve the Fox Valley area. In 2012 they set out in obedience, stepping out in faith leading up to the official launch of River City Church meeting in the Batavia Fine Arts Center on January 13, 2013.

In December 2020, the McCrinks heard from the Lord that it was time to transition from River City Church into a new Season ahead of them. After carefully praying and being led by the Holy Spirit, by faith, they transitioned out of River City Church in March 2021.

A year and a half after their transition Nancy McCrink is diagnosed with a very aggressive and inoperable cancerous tumor. Two weeks after her diagnosis and after a short but courageous fight with cancer, on December 8th, 2022, at 10:10 A.M, Nancy went to be with the Lord.

We honor Nancy’s legacy and the obedience and tenacity of both Damian and Nancy in Planting River City Church. We carry on the torch and the vision of RCC for generations to come.
